Hi, cmd-r should start the internal HD's Recovery system and cmd-option-r for the Internet Recovery. In both cases though, since you've already installed 10.14.4, it will want to download the latest Mojave, which is 10.14.4. You would need to find an full installer for older versions somewher

mine did the same thing. you have to go into internet accounts, where it tells you that you have to sign into your google account. after you do this look for an "allow" button for osX to connect with gmail. I have no idea why this was done. they were communicating just fine before the upgrade.
