Hi List,
I've just reimaged my Mac book air mid 2013
I've installed the latest Mojave 10.14.3 production not a PB.
Prior to this reimage I had windows 10 on the machine through Boot Camp
Now with this new installation I'm getting an error when trying to install
windows 10 64Bit version 1809 and
Hi ET,
I've just reimaged my mac book air,
It's doing the same thing with the new installation of Mojave
And I can't figure it out.
There isn't anything specific that sets it off.

Hello,
Have you tried both USB ports? I recall that one is supplied with full power
and the other power drops dramatically. Other than that it’s about waiting
until Apple fix the bootcamp drivers.

Hi, Simon:
I ran into that same error when I was installing Windows 10 via Bootcamp
on my own late 2013 era Airbook. I don't recall all the details because
this was some time ago, but I do recall enough that I can confidently
tell you the error is misleading.
The problem is not the available capa

Simon,
Do you get the same choppiness on the MBP as you do on the MBA? I ask because
I'm not seeing that at all on my 2017 MBP with similar specs. A little quicker
processing speed, but nothing to write home about.

This is so strange. I changed to a different voice and could not
replicate the issue. Changed back to Alex and still cannot do it.
I would not describe this as choppiness however. Its more like VO

Hi,
During the first day or so of a new installation, a lot of things are happening
in the background to optimize your disk such as indexing all data on the drive,
optimizing connections to Cloud services etc. If this is happening days later,
then there really is something strange going on.

Those folks with aging iPad mini tablets will be happy to know that Apple has
just announced a new iPad mini, which has the A12 processor, the same one used
in the most current iPhones. That is a huge upgrade from what was previously
available. The tablet comes in two sizes, 64 and 256 GB.

I would probably go for the 256 mini, if I was in the market for an IPad.

Sometimes its a while before it happens, sometimes the very first VO
command after startup causes this behavior. When the next macOS is
released in the fall, I will monitor this before I install apps or make
any changes. I do clean installs so it will be a fresh system.

I sent a post earlier this morning, stating that the new iPad Air was going to
have four speakers, like the 10.5” iPad Pro it is replacing. I just saw an
article stating that in fact it has only two not four speakers.

Hi folks,
I found today’s announcement of a new iPad mini interesting. I had a really old
one, which was painfully slow. And when they made iOS 12, I was surprised that
my old iPad mini was eligible for the upgrade. Well iOS 12 did slightly seem to
improve the performance of that tablet, what dr
Hi Petrus. I do have an app called WhatsApp Desktop on my Mac. It's ok but you
can't listen to messages with the app. Haven't found one that will let me do
this so for now I'd just use the app on your phone.
