HI David,
Thanks for this I just gave it a try and yes the pods connect to my watch if
the phone is out of reach or as I tried turned off.
Only problem with that really is that if I get a phone call and wish to answer
it through my watch then the pods don’t get the audio as the phone is on.

Hi Terri,
Welcome to the world of mac technology and apple products.
As for your question,
Very easy one to answer as itunes is a built in application to the apple OSX

After being frustrated about the same thing, I realised that, when I have

Hi David and Larry,
An easier way to do this is to only have notifications turned on for inbox only
or VIP emails. Go to mail preferences with command comma and make sure you're

If you need finer control over notifications, it is possible to have an
AppleScript run for each incoming message. I haven't played with this for a
while, but some possible actions could be:

Terry,
I doubt you have much choice as to specific versions of iTunes to use. I
believe that Apple Music came out with Yosemite, and for some folks this was a
step back in accessibility since iTunes tries to do too much. I believe that
the latest version of iTunes is a bit easier to use then th

Not sure which element is involved. At some point, in between

Hi ET.
I'm getting the same thing on my mac book air.
If for instance I'm reading a pdf and step away for a minute the
"Authentication has new Window" comes up and blows away my position where I was
reading!
Half to do some digging!

hi,
Upon further investigation, what appears to be going on here is due to the
display sleep setting. So, in System Prefs, Energy Saver, there should be
sliders for both the computer and the display sleep settings. When the display
goes to sleep, whatever process is invoked must cause the Aut
Hi Tim and all,
Even while I had my display and computer sleep set to never while connected to
battery as a test, I noticed that it still said authentication has new window.
God bless.

Hi Matthew,
Hmmm. Interesting. When I set my display to sleep after one minute, the
announcement came after one minute. When I set it for five minutes, it took
five before announcing. I did not set it to never though.

I know what you mean by the first, and I believe folks indicated that if you
make the screen saver features very long that it will go away.
The second issue I have experienced and played with a bit but didn't figure
out. What I did notice is that if you turn off cursor tracking with VO F3 then
Yes setting both to Never under the Power tab dies not clear this
problem. To verify, after I made the changes, I did a cold boot.

i have found the same bug with the Desktop repetition from VO, it doesn't do it
all the time from what i have seen but it is still quite annoying.
Siri on the Mac is still not reading tweets before posting witch is another bug
that is driving me mad.

What do you mean by making the screen saver longer? Since I do not
want my Mac to sleep, if I will be away from it for a period of time, I
invoke the screen saver. Whatever changed happened between Sierra
updates I am pretty sure. Also hear this pesky message twice when I cold

I experimented with this but same thing. Maybe it does have to do
with authenticating something but I did not find anything in Security prefs.
I use a password to log in. In case that is related.
Ok here is a question. As it applies to the Mac, what exactly does

Syncing the phone manually didn't fix this for me either. Does anyone
else have any suggestions?
