If you need finer control over notifications, it is possible to have an
AppleScript run for each incoming message. I haven't played with this for a
while, but some possible actions could be:
1. Play a different sound for different people sending you a message.
2. Automatically extracting attachments and placing them in a specific folder
(hm could all PDF's somehow get migrated to VoiceStream on my phone?)
3. There is a kill file example that is supposed to delete all messages
associated with a thread, that Apple provided. I looked at this a few years
back and was unable to get everything in it to work, but I expect it could
still be possible.)
