Hi Daniel,
Could it be that your music folder is simply expanded? This behaviour happens
to me if a folder is expanded. Once I collapse it with left arrow key, this
behaviour disappears. Go to your home folder, then start typing the word music
for your music folder, and when you land on it,

Hi all,
I am thinking about investing in a Sonos system for my house. I'm wondering if

Thx,

Yes, you’ll have good luck most likely with your speaker and the mac. Anything
with bluetooth and the correct audio profiles will work. You’re also using the
internal amplifier of the speaker so should be able to get more output from the
device. Good luck and enjoy, let us know if you have an

Hi,
I was lucky and received a nice new Apple watch under the tree. I ended up
with the 42 millimeter stainless steel version with the metal magnetic type
band. Love the fit and feel so far. My question is this. I have VO and
everything enabled but I notice that periodically and it can be a
Hi Scott,
I was lucky enough to get an Apple watch for Christmas as well. Try going into
the watch app on your iPhone and then general/wake screen. Turn this off. I
think that should do the trick.

You need to go to the watch app on your phone and general, have wrist
detection on, and then go to wake screen button just below rist detection and
open it and in there turn it off. The clicking is everytime you move your
wrist the screen wakes up and then it goes to sleep and does the
Hi,
Just to add to this, you can also wake the watch by just tapping on the screen.
I personally set the watch to stay on for 15 seconds. 70 is too long in most
circumstances I find myself using the watch for.. I would also recommend going
into voiceover settings and turning off speak on wrist
Yes but I use mine for navigation with apple maps which works awesomely, and it
will stop reading if set for 15 seconds. So, if you do 70 and your finished
just put the flat of the palm of your hand on the screen and it makes the
little noise and goes to sleep.

Interestingly enough, I can hear a lot of electronic signal, and thus the lack

I also wonder if we can assign a sound to the shut down process, sort of like

I think the starup sound is built-in to the bios, the pre-OS environment. I
don't think we can access that.

I don't know what the big deal is. I hardly ever shut down my Mac unless I'm
taking it with me. It's not gonna hurt it if you leave it on all night.

This can be done with scripts. I did not find anything yet via
Google that was current but someone here with more scripting experience
can do it.

I’m surprised to hear that AirPort is giving you trouble. In my experience
they will do upwards of 200 Mb/s. Do you have a connection faster than this?
Nowadays, because AirPort has a poor PPPoE implementation that doesn’t do baby
jumbo frames or native IPv6, I use my own Linux-powered router
Ok, I've been repeatedly trying to connect to facebook using the messages app,

Great response. The fact the airport was the bottle neck through me as well.
I’ve pushed a similar amount through them and their wireless is superb. The AC
implementation isn’t the fastest but it’s damn stable on many chipsets.

Ah George, great stuff thank you. I especially like the palm over the face

Sounds like your screen is locking when you lower your wrist. It shouldn't
be doing that though every few seconds.
Have you got Voiceover set to not speak when you raise your wrist?
Sounds like we have exactly the same watch, and the same band. I have the
magnetic Milanese loop as well, and
Yikes! Then, how would you wake the screen if you do that? I don't mind
the screen waking when I raise my wrist. I just don't want the darn thing
talking every time I do, so I shut that off in Voiceover settings on the
IPhone Apple Watch app under the My watch tab, then across the top, go to
Chris, if you single tap the screen it wakes. Not sure if that helps on the
how to wake the watch question.
I’ll fiddle with the settings. I made the ricardo and george suggested changes
and so far so good but I may play with the voice over and wake options.
How are you liking your watch so f
I'm really liking it. Wouldn't turning the wake option to off as suggested
though make it where the touching of the screen wouldn't work?
I'm a little confused as to what that setting does, if that's not the case.
Chris.

It's not really a big deal over all, but I do think it's inconvenient.
Technically, this issue goes even further out though than just the Apple Watch,
as you can't do this with I O S devices in general that I know of.
Let's say I'm in the car, and I have my IPhone in my pants pocket. Now, I
