I'm really liking it. Wouldn't turning the wake option to off as suggested
though make it where the touching of the screen wouldn't work?
I'm a little confused as to what that setting does, if that's not the case.
Chris.

Chris, if you single tap the screen it wakes. Not sure if that helps on the
how to wake the watch question.
I’ll fiddle with the settings. I made the ricardo and george suggested
changes and so far so good but I may play with the voice over and wake
options.
How are you liking your watch so far?

Yikes! Then, how would you wake the screen if you do that? I don't mind
the screen waking when I raise my wrist. I just don't want the darn thing
talking every time I do, so I shut that off in Voiceover settings on the
IPhone Apple Watch app under the My watch tab, then across the top, go to
general, Accessibility, Voiceover.

Hi Scott,
I was lucky enough to get an Apple watch for Christmas as well. Try going
into the watch app on your iPhone and then general/wake screen. Turn this
off. I think that should do the trick.

Hi,
I was lucky and received a nice new Apple watch under the tree. I ended
up with the 42 millimeter stainless steel version with the metal magnetic
type band. Love the fit and feel so far. My question is this. I have
VO and everything enabled but I notice that periodically and it can be
anything from a few seconds to a few minutes the watch makes like a click
click sound, one or two quick clicks and then it stops, waits and does it
again. Any idea what this is? Also, any general pointers would be
great.
Thanks and happy holidays all.
