Can I've recently removed an email account I no longer use from the accounts
table in preferences. The weird thing is that the option to send from that
email account still appears in the "from" field when I send an email.
Is there any way to get rid of this option too?

You might try VO j in order to jump back-and-forth between the formatter and
your spreadsheet. You can also set hotspots where you want to go real often.
Press VO shift and a number to save your hotspot. When you go to it, press VO
plus the number you assigned to it.

be aware, that using option + arrow keys will add a row or column to your
spreadsheet table automatically. Whereas command arrows will move you to the
top/left/bottom/right of a column/row. The two are easy to mix up when you're
in a hurry and hitting option + arrows will screw up the column/row

Am I doing something wrong, or is there a flaw in the concept.
iMessages on Mac & iOS don't seem to sync up. If I message people on my Mac,
it opens a second message window on their iDevice. All of their replies go to
my Mac. I think I assumed I could start a conversation on my Mac,

use a mac in my personal life and windows at work. I guess my question should

As far as I know, the Apple Mail app does not in itself have any option to do
read receipts either individually or for all mail but I could be wrong. The one

in the email that is presented for you to fill in. You can also have different
return receipt protocols for different email addresses though i haven't tried

I was wondering if anyone knows how to permanently erase a message, or group of
messages, from an IMAP account in the mail app without sending them to the
trash. I've read a couple of articles that suggest simply hitting CMD+X to cut
them to the clipboard, but this seems not to work.
Grant, the keystroke you want is command shift delete. I use it all the time
and bypass the trash in that way. You'll have to answer a confirmation dialog
box that pops up, but that's not a difficult task to accomplish. Hope this
