Hello Eileen: You have two Dongles? I assume you have two separate licenses of JAWS, then? In any case, yes, if a Dongle is authorized for JAWS 15, then yes, it should work without issues.
As for internet activation, there are really no guarantees whether or not updating the Boot Camp Support Software would deactivate your license of JAWS. You could try exiting JAWS completely during the upgrade and use another screen reader, such as NVDA or Narrator. There's also a chance the installation will be smooth and there'll be no issues. I immediately was told that the installer couldn't complete, and after researching the problem online I determined that a few people had given the suggestion of trying to uninstall third party video software before running the installer. As I said, this did indeed work for me. Maybe this isn't a normal thing to have to do, though. If other JAWS users have tried repairing or reinstalling the Boot Camp Support Software, I'd ask them to chime in and let me know how things went. It's also possible that removing "Freedom Scientific Video Intercept Software" from the "Programs and Features" section of the Control Panel would work better. In any case, if your JAWS deactivates, FS should be able to reset it for you but I would recommend reporting this to them as a bug, which I honestly believe it is. To respond to some points made by other listers, giving up commercial screen reading software just isn't an option a lot of us would want to do as I do rely on some of the power features of JAWS, for example, to make me more efficient. Two examples that immediately spring to mind are speech and sounds schemes, and the flexible web feature. Indeed, I feel that with a machine that can run JAWS, Window-Eyes, NVDA, and VoiceOver, as well as any other screen reader you like, you have the greatest number of tools in your toolbox to deal with any screen reading needs that come up. I would hope though that one day JAWS will embrace the more benign copy protection models that are used by companies like Microsoft and Apple, which enforce their EULA but in a much more user friendly way. With Apple for example, you need only sign in with your Apple ID and password, and you have access to all your purchases. With Microsoft, you can activate repeatedly on the same machine and it'll automatically push it through for you. If you change machines, they have a 24/7 call centre that you can telephone. In any case, I guess further discussion of this particular point should be taken to a different list, but I did want to bring this JAWS and Boot Camp issue to listers' attention.
