Hi Donna,
Bring up the inspector with Command-Option I. Select the Info Tab which is the
third tab to the right. You will see the Word Count in there, VO-right arrow
will provide this information. HTH.

I also get these annoying "busy" messages in different programs from time to
time. Command + Q and restart solves the problem in short - term. I am also
curious about why this happens. Could be Voice Over, since i could use the
mouse and click on tabs without voice, but not use Voice Over co

Sadly, not an option for me, I have an MBA. Mostly I love the Air, but the
inability to upgrade anything is my biggest beef about it.

+ Q fixes the problem in shot - term.

The word count in Pages appears to VO as an image. You can find it to the right
of where VO says "Layout area" but it isn't readable with VO and I haven't
found a way round this as I can't seem to highlight it to use the trick of

Does anyone else have problems skipping YouTube ads when using youtube.com on
the Mac? It works great on IOS, but with the regular website on the Mac,
although I can go back in the video with J, play/pause with K, and fast forward

because I pressed the wrong key.
And no, it has nothing to do with keeping you from skipping ads, as visually
you are able to skip ads after five seconds for the majority of the ads.
