.Hi:
I attempted to surf the web last night, but first I couldn't get the reader to
work. I accidentally brought up a reading list and though it's now hidden, I
can no longer get the shortcut keys to work except, ironically, the reader.
What did I do and how do I undo it so that I can once ag
Try interacting with the toolbar, then, you need to go all the way to the right
end of the toolbar and press three button that should do it.

You are correct, I use jaws with my vm, and no I did not have to reauthorize my
license. It started up, like no changes had been made. Smooth as pie!

Okay, feeling kind of stupid here. I thought I followed the directions I saw on
this list earlier, for getting rid of the preview pane in Mountain Lion mail,
but it didn't look the same on mine.
I have a list of mailboxes and for each mailbox, a bunch of messages. In Lion,
I'd just tab from the
I've just done a clean install of mountain Lion, and as long as you have the
virtual machines folder with everything from when fusion was working fine
before the reformat, you'll be fine. Just place it where you want, open the vmx
file once fusion is installed, and things should come up as you'd

Very cool. THey must've updated it in the last couple days or so. At the
release of ML, the latest dropbox version was 1.4.11, and now it's 1.4.12.
It's been fixed for me too, in 1.4.12. Cool. THat was so frustrating, to not
have that submenu off of a file. NOw with the update to 1.4.12, i
How interesting. VO-Backslash is still working for me just fine. Otherwise, I
wouldn't be able to read any of my emails since they are all grouped by
conversations.

How long are you waiting before realizing VoiceOver is not coming on? Is it
possible the system is still booting up?
Also, just for giggles, unchecked the checkbox for starting VoiceOver at the
login screen. Close the Preferences, open it again and check the box again.

Certainly startup times can vary depending on your system configurations.
I just timed my startup from a complete shut down. I have a 2010 MacBook Pro,
2.4GHz with 4GB ram and a 128GB SSD.
My startup time from the moment the Apple chime stops to when VoiceOver starts
talking at the login screen i

Hi,
I had to try it myself to see what you were talking about.
Here is how to get rid of it. Open any folder where this is happening, my guess
is the home folder.
Open view preferences by pressing Command-J. Uncheck the check box for "Kind".
It's interesting that if you are looking at a folder, Vo
Let's see... how do I check for updates with Dropbox in ML?

Hi,
Are you pressing VO-Backslash on the Conversation column?
I am doing the same here and have no problems expanding or collapsing
conversations.

I discovered the most reliable way is to not use quick nav, but to rather press
right arrow by itself to expand messages, and left arrow by itself to collapse
messages.
VO blackslash for me does not work.

Hi all,
I discovered something new with Mail in Mountain Lion. It's not a big thing,
but worth keeping in mind.
First, my Mail is in classic view. When going through a large amount of emails,
I usually stay on the subject column since the sender column doesn't always
tell me what the email is ab
