So I make sure the mouse is there with vo+command+f5 then mouse click
vo+shift+space!
But still sometimes although vo says nothing the text is going in!

you can't buy the jam packs via the Mac app store at present to my knowledge.
But you can pick them up anywhere online. try Amazon. As far as Plugins, you
can't use VSTs on garageband. They have to be AU plugins.

I think you have it backwards.
That setting is to share the optical drive of your Mac with another computer.
I guess since your mini has no optical drive, this option isn't available. You
will have to try to set it up with the computer that has the optical drive.

I am giving serious consideration to returning to the other version of Skype.
The reason? The codec in this version sounds to me to be quite a step back
from the prior version. When I used the Skype call test feature, I didn't
sound nice and crisp to myself; and, another person with whom
I should have stated earlier that if I do in fact try to install windows Vista
on my Mac book Pro, I would be using VMware Fusion. I've got the 30 day trial
of it now but have yet to even attempt using it.
