Hi folks,
I still have the issue where the keyboard settings, when set to
standard function key set up instead of hardware, is not holding.
I have noticed when looking around that my user profile, if that is
what apple calls it, looking at the logon screen setup, is
custom. Might this be why the plist file for system settings is not
available for me to view or have the system modify the file?
Now if I wanted to re-install Lion, where would I get the main
executable file from? When I visit the app store, it tells me that
three components are available for updating, Imovie, Iphoto booth and
some other stuff which I am not interested in.
But I can't find a link to download Lion. There is no support
software on the latest Minis either. No disks because no CD drive (
could connect a external one though,) no usb with lion on it and so it goes.
Sorry this is turning in to a ramble and I don't want to ramble, and
sure as heck you don't want to read a ramble.
Any thoughts on this crockpot of ideas?
