Hi, The problem with edit boxes is that VoiceOver does not read what you typed. Basically, text is being typed into the box. VoiceOver just doesn't read it. For example, google.com. If you type something in the search field, you cannot back space or arrows. But if you VO away then back, you will hear it. Then there is amazon.com. No matter what you do, you will not be able to get VoiceOver to tell you what you typed in the search field. But the text is there and pressing vo-space on the Go button will not work, you need to press enter in the text field. Complicated? Yes. Need improvement? Definitely.
