Hi, Actually, it really doesn't matter which order you do it in. I would usually do the latter though as I'd let the MBP start up with its own stuff then attach the USB device after the fact. As a matter of interest, they'll both work at the same time also, so, you could pretend you were playing the organ and have one hand on each.
