The important thing to bear in mind with Drag&Drop is that both locations must
be visible on the screen for it to work. This is no different from the way it
works for sighted users.

Here is my biggest complaint with Apple and a majority of software
development companies. They are in such a big hurry to get their latest
thing out the door before they even have the documentation ready to go.
When will the public start telling these folks to get the documentation done
before
Lol,
That makes no sense. As you can see by the list traffic and people who have
purchased lion, lack of documentation doesn't stop people from buying the
product. Actually, the majority of people rather eat their arm than read a
manual.

Keep in mind that gMail uses Labels instead of Folders. Effectively, they
are the same. So what you want to do is create Labels. On any email client
they will be displayed/called Folders.

Hi guys,
I updated to lion last night, and now in text edit it won't move to a point in
a document or remember my place.
If I wanted to move to a specific point in a document I used to just be able to
do CMD F type in the word I was looking for and it would jump to that point.
Now if I do th
Hi Kari,
This is a case of not interacting with the edit area I believe. If you do that
VO will properly track the cursor position. It isn't typically necessary
unless you want to do something fancy like reading the entire document, as here.
Best,
Zack.

Hi,
It's quite simple really, when you turn it on, you use left and right arrows

just switch Quick Nav on and left arrow till I get there. Granted, if I want to
expand a conversation or move up and down lists, there'
Greetings,
I installed Lion from DVD and completely erased my HD in the process. I then
acquired xCode 4.1 from the Mac app store.
During installation I received a message admonishing me to quit iTunes in order
to continue the installation. I have a modicum of trouble following this

Hi all,
Well getting to the point of Lion actually downloading was a trip to
Jupiter and back with a little weekend lay-over on Pluto!
Two questions please:
1. Is there any way to check on the download progress of Lion?
2. Anyone know how long the average Lion download has taken?. All I am
Don't forget that as you have Quick Nav on, you can just turn it off with left
and right to type, or you can interact with down and right and stop interacting
with down and left. As a first attempt at single letter navigation, this is way
ahead of where most others were on their first try, and I
So far, I don't regret upgrading. I realize I am probably in the minority
here, but I actually like the conversation view in mail. :-) It actually
speeds up the process of wading through dozens upon dozens of messages.
Although, I have done a little tweaking here and there to suit my own
