Hi, You can set up growl notifications within adium to read your incoming
messages and some other events automaticly. I'd recommend you go out and
update your growl though. The one that comes with adium is a bit rusty and old.
Dock folders are a bit annoying, but you can make them open.

Did you notice a speed difference? Between the upgrade to the new SnowLeopard
and the fact that I don't regularly exit Mail, I was not sure if there was a

Inotice it a bit. My mail still crashes when reading some message but I have
come to the fact thatmail is refusing to render some messages correctly and I
have to live with it. I do notice a slight speed increase. I can hear when it's
working as the hard drive activity increases a big deal.

offer apps for the mac. The app store for the iphone and other devices remains

I completed my master's thesis by using Pages on the Mac. Once you get the hang
of working in Pages, you'll be fine. I was even able to mark up the document
with ehaders, a table of contents and include all of my references.
