Yep, you're correct that you do not need a keyboard, but having one would expand what can be done. Either way, I appreciate you taking time to put the tutorial together and I have found it helpful in getting started. I cannot play a keyboard, but I would like to eventually hack something together I could build on and actually connect my bass to the Mac and do some recording. So, this certainly will give me a starting point. Scott
