Thanks for the great info, Soren! One thing I can add is that changing
the zoom level changes how quickly you can make noticeable changes
with A, S, D, and F. Command-G decreases the zoom level and Command-
Shift-G increases it. So if those letter commands don't appear to be
doing anything,
Hello, I am wondering, i am thinking this will work with readiris pro but I
am wondering if it does with vuescan too? My scanner has a sheetfeeder so it
can scan 25-50 pages at once. I always use it this way i never scan loose
pages, also my scanner has the capability (albeit not by scanning bo
Hi Esther,
As always, thanks for this. I did see the De-authorization option
that you mentioned, but wasn't sure--before Dan's message--what to do
to authorize. I second Chris's earlier post, that your messages have
been invaluable. thanks for taking to provide so much great info to

Yeah, I checked all my configuration settings in skype. I am no skype expert
but I know enough to get it working on a Windows machine with 2 sound cards.
I had jaws speaking via one sound card and skype working through the other.
Very nice. But that's on a Windows machine that I really need to
True. I forgot to tell that. Another nice thing is that you can read
the selected zoom level with the VO-cursor.

One more question though... Which GPS app do you use on your phone and is it
as good as StreetTalk?
I'm afraid that I'll buy an iphonly to discover that I can't find a decent,
accessible GPS app.

Hello, I got in contact with someone at abbyy (eva webber product manager,

some kind of accessibility law in the united states. I have forwarded the
message below to this list because she asked me to contact her if I
The voices from Acapella are great but it's rediculous that Apple keep
avoiding the answer on whether or not they will ever include other language
voices as they do in the IPhone. If they can do it in the IPhone they can do
so in Mac OS X 10.6 +. This is especiallly true considering that they a

I don't use a sattle lite box. I only have a usb tv-tuner which I just

Hello all,
I have noticed something that seems odd about the Cut command. It
seems never to function. It doesn't matter whether I use Command-X or
whether I go into the menus. If I go into the menu, that option
simply shows as dimmed, even though I have an item selected.
Likewise, if
Hello my mac will be here by friday (i ordered just too early for 10.6 to be
preinstalled) I wonder since I would like to use ilife which will be
preinstalled on my mac, will there be a separate cd that contains just ilife?
If not how can i install it after i installed 10.6?
Thanks,
Greetings,
I agree, thats why I bring my questions here rather than trying to
search for answers. Everyone here is so knowledgeable and actually
uses it all. I just have to comment on Brahms and MandM haha, that is
too funny. As I write this, I'm listening to all my track 4's, and I

Anouk, that is more the function of your scanners driver. Unless the
software by-passes the scanners driver, then you should be able to use
the feeder. I've used the feeder on my HP all-in-one with great
success.

Hello,
I'm not sure whether people will find this useful, but if you've made
a selection, and then go to the Selection menu on the Amadeus Pro menu
bar to choose "Generate Markers" and then just press enter (without
changing any of the settings in the dialog window that appears),
you'll g
