If it is a fillable document, then I would expect any application that can read
PDF would work including Adobe Acrobat Reader, Microsoft WOrd, and preview. If
it is one that needs you to type in markups, even then Preview on the works for
sighted people, though the gold standard on the Mac side

If two apps are cutting off an area in the same manner, make sure your window
is set to full view.
In skim in the menu bar windows and zoom do the trick. You can set a shortcut
for zoom.
Btw, cmd a and then cmd c will copy all the text of a pdf file to the
clipboard. It can then be pasted
You could try Prizmo. Prizmo will OCR the print or digital document, and place
each section into its own grouping in the page view.

That is true, though the same PDF might have different sizes if the font
collections are compressed or the graphics have reduced sizes. I believe
Acrobat Pro has controls to manage this along with the ability to change or
modify PDF tags.

seems to be a bug in yosemite.
I quit the PDF, turned off VO, opened the PDF and turned VO back on.
When I interact with the PDF content, vo reads the PDF properly.

You might try PDFpen Pro. I used it this year to do my tax forms. It seems to
work pretty well although there were some fields that didn't fill-in. I plan to
send them a copy of the blank form to see if it was the form or the program.

Wow! This is a nice feature. I have just created a PDF document using LaTeX and
there were tables in it. Tables are something I try to avoid, but I wanted to
