Hi, Is this a pdf document that you were previously able to read? If so, then Interact twice with the Content area then try using VO-down arrow to go through it. It's possible that the first page has nothing VO readable and VO appears to only read the document's current page if you don't Interact the second time. I've tested this on a 31 page document that I had to read a couple of days ago prior to upgrade to Yosemite and the process worked for me.
