Unison was fantastic but no longer supported. You could probably find a copy
on a news group somewhere or a torrent.
Since you have to pay for good news service anyway, grab up an easy news or
giganews account. They both offer you fully adaquit web interfaces for
downloading.

Usenet might be obsolete, but I truly like news.gmane.org (see

Unison 1 was all right. Then Unison 2 came out, and broke what little
accessibility the previous version had. And anyway, Unison isn’t really suited
as a general-purpose newsread
