Hello Adrienne,
According to the Irislink website, the cost of ReadIris 14 is €99 which is more
expensive than ABBYY FineReader.
They seem to have completely redesigned the whole program so I've no idea how
accessible it is.
As far as I know, FineReader will work with any scanner t

Hello Anne and thanks
It seems that Readiris is currently available for 69 Euros from the developers,
while Abbyy is GBP 69.99 from the App Store. I don't know the current
conversion rate, but that's a wee bit cheaper.
I had been given the impression that people had to get Vuescan
Hello Adrienne,
I really wouldn't recommend ReadIris. It's too expensive for what it does, and
ABBYY FineReader does the job much better.
The last time I tried ReadIris it was version 12 and it OCR'd my double-page
scans in the wrong order, a problem I've never had w
Hello
Does anyone have any experience of Readiris 14? Is it accessible with VO? I've
tried emailing the company, but have not heard back from them on the issue.

Hi all,
Does anybody know how well readIris works with twain-sane? I have a
fujitsu scanner with a great document feeder that I would really like
to use with the mac. The scanner seems to work well with twain-sane,
which is an open source project to emulate scanner drivers for the
mac. My

Hello, I am wondering, i am thinking this will work with readiris pro but I

Readiris can be purchased from amazon. As for vuscan, I would do a
search in Google and you should get the page. I can't remember the URL
now.

saying that it isn't only that i haven't noticed any difference in

Hello Christos,
ReadIris and Omnipage are from different companies, so anything you
paid to the ReadIris people won't count towards Omnipage Pro. In any
case, Nuance appear to have abandonned development of Omnipage for the
Mac, so it wouldn't be worth your while getting it. It

Hi,
Often, applications will require you to scroll all the way down in
the license agreement before the continue button will become active.
Try scrolling down in that scroll area and see if that enables the
