Generally that's true. As a percentage the speed difference between a
2.53 Ghz and a 2.6 is only 3% and 2.53 to 2.8 is only 10%. But if you run

You are correct that the processor is not upgradeable so if you can't afford
to get everything at once the processor is one thing you'll be stuck with
for the life of the machine. RAM is pretty easy to upgrade. The downside is

I was just on the apple site last night and they said the 13 and 15 inch
mbps last for 7 hours on a battery and the 17 inch lasts 8.
