I'd check the drivers for your burner. The stock DVD Player app on your Mac
should work just fine. The Apple USB Super Drive often works better and is
needed to boot from DVDs, but you should be able to play them just fine with a
third party device.

Just to double check: you did launch a title before navigating using the menu?
You presumably already know that you can't navigate to a title until you're
past the root and title menus, so slap enter a couple of times first and try
again.

Hi, I'm using simply burns for this type of job. It is highly accessible, but
hasn't been updated in quite some time. Operating system compatibility may be
an issue.
There is also one in the app store called Burn which has been recommended
before. I may be looking to switch to that one when
Wonder if DVD Remaster would work. I'll admit, though I did buy it a while
back, and do have it installed, I honestly haven't really done much with it,

With Handbreak, what I found to be good, is if you save the settings
you prefer to a preset, then you can apply that to each title, then,
press command shift e I think it is, to add it to the queue. When
you've done this for all the titles, you then rip with command + enter
