Hi, I tried VLC for the Mac, and honestly, I could not figure it out, the
interface just did not seem to make any sense to me at all.
I’ve been trying to access the titles in 3 ways from the built in DVD player. .
1. Going to the Go menu, arrrowing down to titles, using right arrow,
selecting a title, and either using 1 of 3 methods, spacebar, enter, or command
control option F5 and clicking the mouse.
Or, usint Control Shift Option M to bring up the right click menu, arrowing
down a bit, and all the titles are listed there as well.
This is the first DVD where I have encountered this problem.
Nothing seems to work, this is driving me mad.
I would download the entire TV series from Itunes, but only season 5 is
available.
This is just so strange.

VLC very well may work. But as far the the titles, are you going into the menus
with vo-more and looking under the titles?

  I tried and tried to turn over a new leaf.
  I got crumpled wads of tear-stained paper thrown in the trash!
  Then God gave me a new heart and life:
  His joy for my despairing tears!
  And now, every day:
  "This I call to mind, and therefore I have hope:
  The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
  his mercies never come to an end;
  they are new every morning;
  great is your faithfulness."

    Hi to the list.

    I have run onto a situation where I have purchased a DVD, but the go

    menu will not let me properly select an episode title.

    No matter what I try, it keeps defaulting back to episode 1, I've

    tried cursor tracking on and off, routing the mouse pointer with

    control option F5 and doing a mouse click, hitting both enter or space

    bar on the selected title, this is driving me nuts, I've never

    encountered a DVD like this before.

    There seems to be no keyboard shortcuts in DVD player to let you

    advance by title.

    I could sure use some suggestions on a way to get this to work

    properly, or perhaps a more VO friendly DVD player.

    I have tried Softcon DVD player, but I cannot seem to get the titles

    list to show in that program either.

    Any suggestions will sure be appreciated.
