Google Groups is a real Pain in the Ass with VO. try reporting harassing
content. Its like they deliberately made it difficult to navigate.
Some suggestions I have for google groups:
1. a groups list frame, a search frame and a main content frame.
Inside the main content frame is a table with se
Hey Brian!
I'm using mavericks and safari. I just search for the word basic. I have the
basic page bookmarked so that's how I usually get there but this morning I went
to standard page and found the basic link.

More and more webpages are using these popup menus to make items appear at the

iPhone Safari's view to desktop, I can still find the links with exploration. I
haven't tried it lately on my Mac.

Hey Eric,
Yes, Google has yet again changed their web layout making it even more
impossible to use with a screen reader like VO. I can't even find a way to
toggle between standard and basic html views anymore. It used to be the first
thing or second thing that came up on the page but it is now.
Good luck finding the settings with VO as my sighted friend couldn't even find
them.

David I didn't delete anything from the all mail folder just from the sent

I'm glad to hear you are having the same trouble with gmail. Actually I should
say I'm sorry that you are having the same trouble. It seems like they will
never fix this discrepancy between basic and standard emails.

I seem to remember there being an "empty trash" option in gmail when you are on
the web site which will clear the trash folder. I also thought that when I did
shift-command-delete from apple mail that it emptied the trash--while using
iMap. Maybe wrong about that.

Hi,
One other thing to note regarding Gmail and copies of messages. Remember that
when using Gmail, there are not actually multiple copies of the message, there
is only one copy of the message with various labels or flags attached.
Archived messages just have an Archived flag, Sent messages j

I seem to remember that you said you don't have basic and standard gmail
options. When I use my gmail bookmark in safari I still see basic and standard
html, and can change between them.
Just thought you might want to know as there might be a way for you to still do
this.

Hi,
To get to the Gmail Settings page, do the following:
* Go to your Gmail Home page.
* Press shift-tab enough times that it kind of goes around backwards through
your Toolbar and around to the bottom of your page.
* When VO announces the Settings button, press the return key.
* Press the down

No idea if this will help but sharing anyway.
you can go directly to the basic html page, at least you can when

try this link.

the standard view gets very confusing on Safari in OS X. Also, I can't seem to

Hey Eric I hope that you are right, as I would love for all the messages I
deleted to reappear. All of this happened because of all the issues I was
having with gmail and the all mail folder having so much crap in it that I

always comes back (my trash folder has well over 10,000 entries in it right

locally.
How do you get gmail to permanently delete something
No unfortunately I permanently deleted them from the gmail. They should be in
all mail but are gone. I didn't delete anything from all mail just permanently
deleted my sent and trash folders. Praying that a Time Machine restore might
still have them, as they should but can't figure out time mach
they are probably either still in all mail or over in trash. they can be moved
