Hey Eric, Yes, Google has yet again changed their web layout making it even more impossible to use with a screen reader like VO. I can't even find a way to toggle between standard and basic html views anymore. It used to be the first thing or second thing that came up on the page but it is now. And people tell me Google is taking accessibility more seriously. Well this new layout of gmail doesn't point to that. And better luck trying to actually use the google groups now with VO.
