Thanks so much for telling me this great way, I treid and it works but now, my
mac asked me for the password to connect to my windows hd, I didn't set a
password for my widnows.

I’ll take the network question part of this. For best performance you’d use a
wire. Wireless is good but wired is still your fastest option. You can nail
that wired connection to gigabit and get quite a bit of throughput. Wireless
will work but expect the wire to be as much as twice as fast
A few pointers.
You can do this as long as both machines are on the same wifi network.
1. You will need to have Windows 7 setup so that you have a login password.
2. You will need to have your drives /folders permission on Windows to

My clock on my MacMini is now working again automatically. I had to turn the
display off. That's fine as I have no screen connected. I don't know why the
Imac doesn't have to do that as the display is on it's default schedule because
of the built in screen.

There is, but it's not the same port you'd find on many other computers. It
fits any standard microphone that uses a 3.5mm connection, but it also requires
that that microphone be powered somehow. You might want to grab either a USB
microphone, or a USB sound card into which to plug your existin
Please could someone tell me if there is a microphone inbuilt in the new Mac
mini as I was trying to dictate but even though I heard the sound, no text
appeared. I bought this one last year around just before Christmas in November.

VoiceOver could suddenly see the connect/disconnect button. How odd that it
