I am trying to add a Keyboard Commander shortcut (Right Option-n) to Notes.
When I test the command, it opens AppStore, not Notes.
What Am I doing wrong here?

Hi,
My problem is that I said no to allowing SCROD to run a system event. When I
set up Mojave. That was a mistake and I am trying to find out how to go back in
and tell Mojave yes it can allow SCROD to run a system event. Does anybody know
how I would do that?

Do you have an activity set for Safari by chance. The keyboard commander
should work universally when you assign them, unless you have set an Activity
for an app that has a different configuration.

I have option t set for Interact. VoiceOver commands help reports this
accurately if I access it while in mail. If I go into Safari not only does the
keyboard commander not work, but I just discovered that VO HH reports this key
as being assigned to open
Make sure your command is not already taken. For example right option
s opens safari.

I am using several Keyboard commander's which I have created. They do not,
however, work when I am in Safari, even if they are Safari specific. I am using
a MacBook air and the latest version of El Capitan. Does anyone have any idea

Actually, you enter an edit box in iOS by double-tapping on the edit box. This
is the same as turning off keyboard commander on the mac.

You simply interact with the text or turn quick nav off. This is nothing to do
with keyboard commander, which is what caused the confusion. If you have your
tab key set to auto-interact, then when you tab into a field you can just type
without doing anything, and for secure edit fields, it

I just tried this and it works for me. You should be selecting Open Application
from Custom Commands in the menu. Check also whether the C you entered is a

Keyboard Commander only offers VO commands and not standard Mac shortcuts.
There is a shortcut to go straight to documents it's Command-Shift-O.
Standard shortcuts can be found beside their menu item.

I've found the way to use keyboard commander to move to the top and bottom
staying in the same column!
When you get to the part where you are going to set a new shortcut key!
Select the jump menu in the table of commands, then pick bottom
e you can pick which file
you want to open!
I could not see how to make it open on documents itself!
So maybe that is one thing you cannot do with keyboard commander!

As for the keyboard commander, could you be pressing VO-Shift-k by accident?
That's the toggle for keyboard commander.

I was attempting to create some more custom key assignments in the keyboard
commander, and I believe I may have come across an interesting limitation. At
first glance, it appears that you cannot assign commands to special keys, such
as the function or arrow keys. If the key does not

I can not find a way for that either. I have suggested apple to make, so we can
add other hotkeys than specific voiceover keys.
