a Linux, you wouldn’t have this problem, as the BRLTTY package includes the driver for each display, and it can be compiled for Arm64. Unfortunately, I suspect that “don’t get into this situation in the first place” may be the only realistic answer. You could ask the Braille display manufacturer

Hello, I'd also recommend powering down and restarting the braille display itself, so it is disconnected from your Bookpro.  It can still be paired for connection, but just making sure  the display  is not waiting for the Bookpro to connect, while your Bookair is attempting to locate and pair

Bluetooth braille. I hope this helps. I have had to do this myself personally. I went from an old Intel MacBook Pro, to a new M2 MacBook Pro. The only issues I am having unfortunately is I can’t get my braille display to play along when using a virtual windows machine. But I have had good comments
