Affordable is pretty variable, depending on your circumstances. I’m personally in love with my Orbit Reader 20+. I’ve been using it for about a year now, and it plays nicely with VoiceOver both on my phone and on my computer. It’s noisier than some displays, so keep that in mind if you’re planning to use it in a public setting or while recording. I believe it’s currently priced around $700.
