The public WiFi head end on T-mobile can b quite congested. They use the WiFi calling for a lot of in building access for people and it can get jammed up. If you use one of these devices you get a few advantages. You get a better call quality, you get handed off more directly to the switching

I just switched to TMobile last weekend. I don't understand why this makes such a difference if you have Wifi. Doesn't the TMobile Wifi calling kind ofput an end for such a need for cell service? I understand that it would be only for those who have good Internet service. But what am I missing?
