The public WiFi head end on T-mobile can b quite congested. They use the WiFi calling for a lot of in building access for people and it can get jammed up. If you use one of these devices you get a few advantages. You get a better call quality, you get handed off more directly to the switching infrastructure routing around some of the congestion and you can have good connectivity on devices with or with out WiFi. Mine comes in on Tuesday and where I live is way out in the sticks. They don’t have band 12 out where I live yet so in the mean time I’ll use this to light up my area with service. Oh if your router supports QOS the frames out of the cell spot are tagged appropriately for priority.
Hope that helps. > On Nov 6, 2015, at 7:25 PM, gs <geoffsli...@gmail.com> wrote: > > I just switched to TMobile last weekend. I don't understand why this makes > such a difference if you have Wifi.
