HI. I didn't know there was a version of thunderbird for the mac. the mail
client that comes with the mac is very accessible. I have a gmail account
which is an imap account so I didn't have to move any mail over, I just put my
account details in.

I'm not sure you have to route the mouse. I think doing cmd-option-shift-delete
and then leaving the option key held down while releasing the other does this.

10.8.2 on it, not with the trackpad.
When keyboard help is on and I do the corresponding trackpad, the description

Emptying the trash the unsecure way appeared to have been all that was
needed as now the secure empty trash command in the Finder menu is

do in this case is open your Trash window, cmd-a to Select All and cmd-c to
Copy those items, then paste with cmd-v after typing the original remove

To select a channel in ITunes, just click the channel you want to watch.
