Hi,
May I have permission to post this o a few places? I think the grater
blind community needs to hear aboutit so we can all try and support
it. I can't wait to try it for myself! So many sites have these
things now and I'm sure you can all relate to my frustration here. So
many of them I si
I am one of the authors of Louis and can explain the process.
Your going to need the following:
1. A USB to Serial connector, I would suggest the unit for KeySpan as
I have tested it and know that it works.
2. A null modem cable or a modem cable and a null modem adapter to
connect to it.

Hi,
What is the connection between the iMac and the BB? Is it using a

Hi,
I don't know if this message got through, so I am reposting.
I think NFB is thinking of Duxbury when they told you what they said.
Louis is different.
Let's try and troubleshoot it.

Hi,
I'm thinking that NFB is thinking of Duxbury, where it shows up on
screen in Braille first. What proceedure are you using to print the
document? What connection is physically attaching the BB to the
computer. If you are using an USB to serial adapter, is its driver
installed. Is it showing up

Hello all,
There is a promotional software bundle of 9 apps for $49.95 available
from MacUpdate. This may be of special interest to people who watch
DVD movies, because 3 of the 9 apps are devoted to DVD ripping,
converting to various platforms, and watching movies on a digital

if you're gonna take that approach about the iphone and firefox and

Good afternoon,
The original goal was for Firefox to be accessible on the Mac in Q2 of
2009. It looks like it may be Q3 now. This information comes from a
contact at Mozilla.

Dan has answered the main question by pointing out that you can use VO-

few other tips. Take a look at the notes about Address Book at Tim

Hey VO gurus!
I am wanting to play with and learn more about the refreshable
braille display features of VoiceOver. I understand it's basics and
am assuming that the display will show the same thing the VoiceOver
Dialogue box shows. I am trying to upgrade my annual presentation to
Hi,
I will try to answer this question for Anne.
The 7th and 8th dots are used as prefixes for capital letters and
number signs in a regular 6 dot braille.
In order to indicate that the letter is capital you use the 7th dot.
In order to say that some dot pattern is a number you use 8th dot in a
