I've been trying to use the candidate release for 1.6. While there are some

Lyx 1.4 looks great so far. I have a few related questions (and
apologies if they have already been asked):
Is it possible to save toolbar preferences? That is, if I want to

I don't see any "textclass.lst" file anywhere under the "lyx" folder.
I did install the other prerequisite programs prior to ever trying to

How can I cleanly wipe Lyx off WinXP as to get a pure and fresh re-install?

change the properties after the inset is already in place.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Has there been any discussion of supporting vulcan in LyX?

My question is probably premature, since I haven't even tried it out
yet. The idea itself sounds pretty good though.

Howdy,
Lyx-1.1.4 seems to be incapable of producing an article with the

Has anyone else seen this behavior?

Don't know whether this one is already in the list...
It would be nice for LyX to support the short/long format for captions

If a table (within a table float) is rotated 90 degrees is there an easy
way of moving the table caption to the top of the table. The default is
to have the caption not rotated and to the right of the table.

The Extended LyX documentation suggests I rotate the pages externally,

rotate pages in a PS file and PDF file?
Many thanks,
