I'm using Lyx 1.3.1 on Redhat 8.0, and am a Lyx/Latex newbie. I've gone through the tutorial, correcting the example_raw.lyx file.
My problem is when I try to generate a pdf file. When I select View->PDF, a pdf is generated with errors. Both Gv and Acrobat reader give me errors. However, when I View->DVI, there are no problems - the document is displayed pefectly. I have a hunch I need to add/rearrange some font files. I copied messages from the Latex log file (see below) from the point where I first saw a warning. I tried searching the web on these warning messages without much luck. Other beginners must have had these problems in the past. Any help would be appreciated.
