hello,
in lyx-code sections that contain angle brackets (<>) ,
when i generate the pdf using pdflatex (or a .dvi file
for that matter), i am noticing
that the angle brackets get mangled, and end up
displaying as upside down question marks and
exclamation points.
i have no clue how t

so the package i have installed which supplies the beramono font
following up on my previous post:
i have a lyx document with the preamble specifying to use
the font beramono for the non-proportional font
(e.g. for lyx-code sections).
when i produce the dvi or pdf, angle brackets: <>
appear as upside down question marks and upside down
exclamation marks. my
fyi, i just fixed my problem.
i don't believe i realized (or more probably i forgot)
that i had to manually tell lyx to reconfigure itself
after downloading and installing new fonts.
