the problem. I created the folder and added the Python script,
reconfigured LyX... Nothing... Same error.
Uninstalled LyX and reinstalled it with the Small Version of your

When I installed Versions 1.4.4.2 and 1.4.4.3, I could not get to the Document
settings > latex preamble. LyX simply froze.

1 minor problem so far. Tried to set preferences (wanted to use kpdf
instead of acroread - wish that was the default!). In the process of
