Hello there,
I have a problem with LyX 1.2.0 on Mac OSX 10.1.5 (installed through
fink).
I created a lyx document which I want to export as pdf (using pdflatex)
and as html (using latex2html). To be able to setup hyperlinks properly
and set pdf parameters only for the pdf export, I included an \

I have long run into this problem with various versions of lyx, up to 1.2.0. I
am writing a scientific paper which includes sequence data on DNA

I just (re) upgraded to lyx-1.2.0 from 1.1.6pre-, started it and
opened my thesis document I've been working on. Under 1.1.6 my eps figures
and tables were rendered fine after upgrading my ImageMagick to
ImageMagick-5.4.2.3-3mdk. Now, in 1.2.0, only two of the eps figures render

Try running Edit->Reconfigure from the pull down menus.

Folks,
In v. 1.1 I was able to melt all the floats to make the images disappear.
This is nice option when you don't want to wait for all the images to
render or just want to focus on text. I can't seem to find a similar menu
option in v. 1.2. Has anybody else?

Seems like several of us have missed the directions to run
Edit->Reconfigure when upgrading to v. 1.2. Perhaps this could be part of
the .rpm install script

Hi,
I read on the upgrade page that in the cygwin version of lyx 1.2.0, image magick is
used to automatically convert eps images to pdf format. I just upgraded to 1.2.0 and
it did install imagemagick but in the converters section I can't find any converter
defined for eps to pdf. And hence, my

Dear Fellow LyXers,
Some of you have been using my mail-merge and envelope
software called LyxDogs. I finally killed the only really
ugly bug and have released LyxDogs up on freshmeat.
My thanks to the lyx users and developers that helped me
with these python classes.

Hello,
To type a set in mathed, {a,b}, my first movement was to use the bracket
keys, the same way I use the parenthesis when I don't need a too beautiful
delimiter.
However the brackets are displayed in red and, bad surprise, are not in
the output.
I see the point to link the brackets to some

Yes. It's exactly the way you would type them in LaTeX.

How can I put \mathrm in mathmode?
If I made a 1^x (like a house-number in my country), I typed "1 C-m ^ (to
rise up) then x
