is different. Contiguous deleted lines (^k) can be "yanked" back (^y) --
anywhere in a document. (I do not consider Emacs is the gold standard --
let's not repeat the editor flame wars -- it is a convenient feature.)

My suggestion, politely lobby editors to adopt actual (and well
documented) standards, rather than popular software. They are smart folk
who may be emotionally involved with their word processors, but can grasp
the elementary (elemental?) beauty of common standards. That is what the

The "draftcopy" package can print a line at the bottom of each page. It
does not work for DVI (and some pdf) previews. Read the (short) manual
because you will have to define your own text, otherwise you get "draft"
and an optional time stamp.

Lyx sorts for printing (including screen dvi, ps or pdf). To print the raw
file, I sporatically ask emacs to "sort buffer." As I recall, other bibtex
tools also sort. But your question was aobut output. That is automatic.

the above is clearly a preferred choice. Tkbibtex and pybliographer(ic?)
worked well for me and, except for minor problems that I think related to

direction. I need references embedded in text, like the harvard style
appears to do. I am using authordate[1] style (which defines only cite and

./configure --with-frontend=qt --with-qt-dir=/usr/lib64
fails to find the moc binary, which is in /usr/lib/qt3/bin. The search
seems to go through the /usr/lib64 directory tree and I can't find a
configure switch that lets me point to the moc binary.

sort the rest out with lyx. On occassions, I'll sometimes leave an emacs
window open beside lyx and hop back and forth modifying the outline and
doing the serious drafting in lyx.
One size does not fit all (persons or problems).

Apparently, the axp cpu limits are undefined.
The error occurs when boost/boost/limits.hpp tries to load the
boost/detail/limits.hpp (mips, powerpc, sparc definitions).
Surely the axp has not yet gone away, despite Intel's fondest wishes.

I think this is a "wish list" item.
With the requisite ERT, I have the preface entry (where preface is
Chapter* environment) properly entered in the TOC and the
\pagenumbering{style} for front matter and regular pages set as desired.
Did I miss a way to do this within lyx?
