When I input files in non-ERT mode, LyX handles this problem. But if I use
non-ERT I cannot input a LaTeX file, only LyX files.
Does anybody have a solution for this?
Thanks,

Hello,
although I see in a configure run here
+checking for "pdflatex"... yes
I do not see the "PDF (pdflatex)" in the view or export options. PDF(pdflatex)
is in the formats and converters defined though...
Any idea why I could do to fix that?
Thanks,

Hello,
we maintain our LyX document in subversion. From time to time, I distribute a
pdf. I would like to include the subversion revision number in the document.
Is there a easy way to do that?
Thanks

Can LyX do that or can I just configure complete paragraphs?

With tex2pdf it works always. So, is that a latex bug?

Hello,
I would like to supress the entries of some floats in the table of figures.
Can I do this in lyx or do I have to write the complete float code in LaTeX
code?
Thank you.
Rainer.
tables are numbered 1, 2, 4 instead of 1, 2, 3.
Is that a lyx or a longtable bug?
Does anybody know a workaround?
Thanks.

Hi,
I am wondering, if it is possible to tell lyx to use the ngerman dictionary by
default, if the document language is German.
Also it seems that there is an ibritish, but no ienglish (at least in Debian).

thanks for the report.
Someone from the development team pointed out, that the problem will disappear
in 1.2.0 for other reasons. Thus I decided to wait for 1.2.0.

the ieeetran.cls file is not installed on the system (debian linux) I am using

Hello,
I made the observation:
Entering \mathbf{c} in math mode is displayed as written (without backslash).
Reloading the document, a bold font is used for c.
It is nice that lyx is able to display in bold font, but is that the expected
behavior?
Thanks.

Hello,
I am wondering, if it is possible to protect math environments. This is
useful, if commands like \addcontentsline with non-robust commands are used.
Thank you.
Rainer.
Hello,
I am using ntheorem.sty which defines a couple of environments for theorems,
definitions, etc.
Is is possible to include these environments in the layout selection in the
top left part of lyx or do I have to write LaTeX code?
Thanks.
Rainer.
It was a language problem.
Thanks everybody.

Hello,
in LaTeX I often wrote

to avoid a big space after the dot. Is there a lyx equivalent or do I have to

There is a changebar package for latex. I made it working with lyx files (by
converting the to latex) and cvs. They are in a pretty prototyping stage and I
didn't use them heavily so far, but were working for the examples I tried.
