LyX 1.6.1, both on iMac and MacBookAir, cannot properly import Latex
(.tex) files, even if the tex file has been previously exported from a
LyX 1.6.1 file, and even if one makes no changes in the tex file after

I tried running the OSX installer directly and the installation seems
to go through but then there are other problems that prevent me from
opening a document or starting a new one.
Thanks for the help, but I think I'm going to give up on LyX 1.6 since
my current installation of 1.5 works.

appears in the .pdf file. The last page or so is missing. But, when I view

I though you made it work by removing the apostrophes? :) This
workes for me:
