When I export my file from LyX to pdf, only the first 2/3rds of the file appears in the .pdf file.
This is because you don't give LateX a chance to break a page. At a certain point the page buffer is full and you get an unfinished document. So you need to use some text in the sections. I did this in the attached document and the proble is solved.
Your document is an outline. This is automatically created when you insert the table of contents. So when you have written a book, simply take its table of contents and you have your outline.
