Ctrl-Enter.
Probabely you will have to move stuff around in the 2x3 boxes you get to
adjust the alignment...

I have an equation that's rather long and the lengthy exponent on the end
sticks into the right margin. According to TCL2, Section 8.2.3 (page 471), I
can use the multiline environment to put a single equation on several lines:
no alignment. Right now the environment is display mode.

I have a couple of figures, each of which has four subfigures. There is no

This means that when I enter the reference in the text like this (Figure

I've looked in both TLC2 and the Tips & Tricks Web page without seeing the
solution; \topfigrule and \botfigrule do nothing. Here's the situation:
A tabular float with three minipages across the width of the text area.
Each minipage has a small table (truth tables for AND, OR and NOT). The

Hello LyXers,
if you are using LyX under Windows, you might have problems with LyX's
math fonts. E.g. the equal sign is not visible with all zooming factors
or Integral signs are placed too high.
These problems can be solved with the new font-package "BaKoMa4LyX" that
can be downloaded from:

Dear All,
I'm a Latex user who has, as the wending ways of the world sometimes
