Hi all, thank you for all the responses. Herbert Voss and Matej Cepl
suggested to use the latex packages: tocloft, titlesec and sectsty. I
found that sectsty suits my need, so I'll use that.
One thing I noticed is that I couldn't use tit

No, it is not (I mean good question). Of
Hi!
Latex2html almost does it all except that it does not recognize those
foilhead headers as html headers and treat them as a paragraph.
I don't know latex. Is there a workaround?
Thanks,

Hello all,
I am in the process of writing a thesis and I have decided to use Lyx
for this purpose. However, as soon as I use the File-View DVI menu, an
error message appears telling me that there are multiple errors in my
document. All these errors are as follows:

Hi,
i use the listngs - package to typset sourcecode in my documents. the Problem
is, that it does not do a pagebreak in the case that the code is longer than
one page. I use the following (in LaTEX style):
\lstinputlisting[language=C++,basicstyle=\fontfamily{pcr}\fontseries{m}\selectfont\foo

I have a complicated letter layout, based on koma-script, basically an
abstraction for a multi-user purpose. It consists of my own document
class, ifthen-structures, and a few files loaded with \input{} at
defined places of the document. What's the best way to translate it
and benefit from LyX?

How can I get rid of the startup splash screen? If I open the Newfile
dialog before it's gone, it will cover the dialog.
