That was exactly the problem. Thank you very much. However, this results in a
feature request: In order to get my digital digital desktop not to become as
cluttered as my real life desktop is, I would like the ability to keep various
documents in separate folders. Such a feature would enhance the usability of
Lyx for those users who have to write documents for different purposes.
