I've beat my brain over this. How do I shade rows in a longtable?
I tried using colortab, but I was unsuccessful.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Hello,
The german way of spelling numbers isn´t using "." as the floating point in numbers
like "1.234" but a comma ",", such that the example would look like "1,234".
The trouble is that the postscript output of "1,234" typed in math-mode isn´t
"1,234" but carries an extra space:"1, 234". Is th

Thanks Jean-Marc !
It works. I just didn´t think of switching the caption inside the float
to standard.

Hi,
I'm running Lyx 1.0.2 on FreeBSD 3.3 Stable on a laptop. I don't have a
printer, so i need a way to transfer my files to a Windows-printable
format. I know i can output .dvi or PS format. What is the best way to
print these files from Winodws?

Hello,
some strange thing just happened to me: I was going to insert a Label
(Insert -> Label) when I noticed that i would appear at the wrong place.
But when I clicked Cancel in this dialogue (nothing was entered), LyX
crashes.
Is this a bug, a feature or just an unexpected behaviour ?

Hello Lyx users,
I changed slightly the Lyx layout for the style g-brief.
I just included a label for the text of the letter (and updated
my new email adress).
You can get the new version on my WWW-site:

Best wishes,
Thomas
I managed to do this in Lyx using the .lyx/layouts/ files, but this does
not result in changes to the generated postscript.
Now, I am a complete rookie when it comes to LaTex, so could anyone help
me on that?

Hello,
When one uses \boldsymbol in math mode, LyX provides the definition
in the preamble:
\newcommand{\boldsymbol}[1]{\mbox{\boldmath $#1$}}
Thix creates an error if you need the whole AMS stuff, because \boldsymbol
is defined there..
Shouldn't the instruction be rewritten
