Hello,
I think I have stumbled upon a bug in Lyx (development version) not yet

Good morning you all,
PROBLEM
I have found a small bug in the UI: the dialog box for opening examples or new
files from templates.
It is not a serious bug, but it feels counter-intuitive. Also it does not seem
to actually carry out any operation (nothing is output to the terminal).

Hello,
I stumbled upon a problem compiling with pdflatex the "Europe CV" example. I
get the following error, in both languages available: Spanish and English.
Can someone try and reproduce the problem so that I know whether it is specific
to me or the document itself? Thanks.

me figure out why it finds cmr10 but not cmmi10.
fc-list displays it correctly. So does the font list in qtconfig. I even
tried substituting cmr10 for cmmi10 in qtconfig - nothing happened. Weird.
Does anyone know what's behind this? What should I do to debug this further?

I'll try to fix this - there's a whole bunch of characters around kappa in

be at their address). Meanwhile a quick explanation of when lyx uses unicode
values, and when it uses character names, would be

It looks like there's some problem in pfaedit, the f
yx to /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/misc (where tetex put its
version of revtex.cls). Thus, by default the revtex style is broken after
a fresh install. Could lyx be packaged to place the revtex.cls file (and
other *.cls) in a more standard location?
Dan
Start of file
buggy in that if I have a figure rendered in color, have it
re-rendered in gray, then try to come back to color, it remains gray.
Has anybody observed this before?
Any suggestions where the problem may be?
Dan
BTW: I am using 32bpp color, so it is not a color table issue.

copy of revtex.sty in the
same directory as revtex.cls. If you have tetex-latex-0.9.17, it will put
revtex.cls in /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/misc/, so just copy your
revtex.sty here.
You may also need to check your TEXINPUTS environment variable to make
sure all the paths to your .sty and .cls stuff is there.
Good luck,
