Thank you for your contributions! It's especially impressive how you're
continuing to develop LyX support and documentation of Sweave, even though
in some sense knitr is a competitor. From what I have been reading, knitr
has clear advantages.

That is not right, because the converters are not there if you do not
re-compile LyX. Of course you can add the converters manually; see the
changes in lib/configure.py at
http://www.lyx.org/trac/attachment/ticket/7887/knitr.patch (further

As far as I can see, knitr has covered all the features in pgfSweave,
so I do not plan to add a pg
Sweave works beautifully in 2.0.2, huge thanks to Yihui Xie et al. But the
situation "beyond" Sweave seems problematic. Ticket #7887 is stalled. There's
neither a pgfSweave module nor a knitr module. knitr is not even available for
2.24.1 for Windows.
RFE: could we have pgfSweave support in 2.0.3?
